Oh man! that's the type of stuff I used to bring. E/Mo with fire, earth, AND air skills. Then I would bring heal breeze and orison to keep my party up. Seeing stuff like this makes me want to go back to pre-searing!

Worst I ever saw:
W/Mo with a staff spamming Orison from the back row.
I know he also had Healing Breeze. Not sure if he had any other skills.
Maybe Frenzy/Heal Sig

Ok, here's a good one. I needed the Dunes of Despair bonus so I joined a Necrotic Traversal bonus only group. I'm assuming that most of you know about this trick. For those that don't here's the short version: To get to the bonus area without activating the Ghostly Hero's countdown timer, you can try to get a Jade Scarab to spawn and a M/N or N/M in the group uses Necrotic Traversal to "jump the chasm". The rest of the team suicides somehow and the jumper uses rebirth to drag them across.
The leader knew how to do this and was advertising for 1 more party member. I joined. The leader made sure I understood the trick and we were off. No scarab spawned so we resigned and went back to town. Someone had to leave so we picked up a random wammo in town that needed the bonus. Big Mistake!!!
The wammo had no clue how to do this bonus. He kept asking question after question after question. We reached the jump site, killed the scarab and our monk leader jumped across. I goofed. I was relying on shadow stepping to get across which I discovered doesn't work. No problem. Our leader was a real pro. He told those of us without a means of suicide to head back to the cliffs edge near the cutscene. He showed us the exact location and we were able to aggro some scarabs there to kill us.
Well....that was the idea anyways. By this time everyone was across except me and our wammo friend. I was trying to die by scarab and the wammo kept casting mending and healing breeze on me. I guess we should have checked his bar more carefully before we left. It turns out he had all monk skills on it. I told him several times to stop and let us die. He refused. He said that was stupid. The rest of the party explained AGAIN how the traversal trick works, but he still couldn't understand. We finally got it across to him that we needed to die. I finally died and was rebirthed. Our wammo friend ran to the enemy ghostly and died there. Well out of range of the rebirthing monk.

I was once doing Gate of madness (hardest mission in nf i think) with a pug on my para just for fun. We had me, 2 hero monk, 2 warriors a hero MM an ele and a ranger.
We were doing fine till i saw an avatar of batlazar and though "WTF we have no derv" but when i turned back...gone. twice it happend till near the end i figured out it was the MM, whos owner left eventually. Funnly enough we finished it with no proplems, partially due to the fact that paragons own pve and the miricle that our wammo didnt over aggro.

Elona Reach used to be good for the weird to show up. I remember having made the mistake of not checking with our mo/me what she was running back when factions wasn't out yet ..
Conjure phantasm, several other illusion skills.. and.. healing breeze/orison for self heals. Not once did any of the heals fall on the party.

Actually say a PUG Paragon trying to run that. Thought Bane Signet and Awe had great synergy. I also thought the Ignore list and his name had great synergy too, so we both win.

The Monk ones aren't half bad a few adjustments and they would be fine not perfect but fine.I have seen worse than those even the Ranger one.

The ranger one is kinda bad but works. Still isn't as bad as some of the trapper builds I have seen I posted one earlier
But I had someone who thought FS meant Fertile Season rather than Frozen Soil. That was entertaining. I might have the screen shot of that little"disagreement" between an r5 player and him about HA he wasn't even ranked.

Edit: Oh and he was using Glyph of Lesser Energy to menage energy.

For arborstone we had 4 Wammo's and 4 monks. I said we should assign each Monk to a War as a joke, yet they all complied.
19 mins later, we got masters ^ ^
So sorry, I guess it isn't a sad pug seeing as we did the mission...but I thought it was sad from the start... :S

I saw a MM running 12 Death and 12 Curses. He had Pretty much every animation spell and Suffering and Weaken Armor
I also saw a Warrior with Inepitude and Axe Twist (without anyway of inflicting Deep wound)

I seriously Lol'd at this because him and I went back and forth on that to no end. There's no convincing that guy that fact is fact.
The worst PuG Build I've ever seen?
An A/Mo with six dagger attacks, no duel attacks, no points in dagger mastery, Mending and Deadly Paradox with maxed out Deadly Arts And Healing Prayers attributes.

Actually, I know several competitent PvPers who have used Barrage and Apply before (in PvE obviously). They use apply right at the start of a fight and quickly spread poison around and then start spaming barrage. I mean, its not efficient, but used properly it still "works."
The ele spells though... that is unacceptable.
